AI Generator

Describe a game in a sentence; review and tweak the draft.

The Describe it to the AI box drafts a whole board from a prompt. You always review and tweak the draft before it saves — the AI proposes, you approve. It picks a preset and board shape, wires real space types, and references your bucket's todos.

Generation runs through Kaizen's AI brain, which remembers your preferences — tell it "I prefer short 7-day boards" or "no sabotage spaces" and later drafts reflect that.

What makes a good prompt

State four things and the generator has what it needs:

  1. Theme / goal"training for a 10k", "launching a side project".
  2. Duration or scope"30 days", "this semester", "ongoing".
  3. Shape of play — a daily habit loop, a branching quest, a multiplayer race, a map of real places.
  4. What the todos are about — the bucket it draws from.

Vague prompts still work; specific ones bind tighter.

By preset

You want…Try a prompt like
Habit Loop"A daily morning routine: wake, move, focus. Reward streaks, go easy on missed days."
Life Board"A 30-day reset as a board game — small wins, a few big challenges, a tax when I slip, a badge at the finish."
Quest Board"A dungeon-crawl skill tree: fork into 'strength' and 'cardio' routes, a boss workout where they rejoin."
City Builder"Grow a startup city — build a feature, collect weekly revenue, dodge a market crash."
Gauntlet"A 2-week fitness race for me and three friends — sabotage, alliances, first to the finish wins."
Atlas"Explore my city: check in at 10 cafés and parks, count discoveries."
Franchise"Build a coffee franchise across my projects — acquisitions, development, an IPO."

Edge cases

  • Empty bucket / no todos — ask the AI to add its own: "…and create the daily tasks for me."
  • Location-only — "…using real places near me" → an Atlas board (honor-system).
  • Multiplayer — name the players or say "for N players" → a Gauntlet.
  • Too vague ("make me a game") — you'll get a sensible Life Board; refine from the draft.

AI-generated games never go straight to playable — the review step is mandatory. Tweak any space, regenerate a section, or edit by hand before you save.
